Today's Look~ Do you like it?

 

How are you guys? I did nothing today, so I don't have much to say.

But I was considering writing a upcoming Topic of the Day post, because I feel like it's a good way to get stuff off my mind, and well, present to the world my opinion on subjects; afterall, I started blogging because of me wanting a place to rant and vent.

 

I also really want to dye my hair - this time using Prettia's foam collection, because I'm honestly too lazy to do the cream stuff. I mean, if I can do it like shampoo than sure. Also because I don't want to waste money buying two-three boxes because of thickness/length, whereas people have said the Prettia foam goes a long way with just one bottle. And you can probably see in the photos of myself that my roots have grown out! I've been cutting off the damaged bleach hair slowly as soon as it gets to a length - that's why I'm not doing much to my hair. I'm trying to protect my baby. LOL

 

Actually, thanks to one of my close friends, my hair is much healthier. She trimmed it up pretty well, and it's nice to wake up to no tangles. :)

 

When I DO decide to dye my hair, I'm going to do a review/example of how it turned out, so please stay turned. I'll give you guys a heads up.

Lately I've been going simple - ususally something with tights, or jeans. Nothing flashy. :P

Meh.

I've also been lazy, so I guess that also contributes to my lack of efforts.

False lashes - which I'm obviously not very good at putting on, so don't judge me! LOL

I'm still practicing, I'm amazed by girls who do it so effortlessly, it takes me a long time just to attempt to get them on. So if you guys have any tips.. comment or email me? :D

Actually, I shouldn't read. Because my back hurts and I'm hungry, I actually haven't ate since I woke up at 2pm ish, and I ate brunch, but after that I haven't touched food yet.

So I think I should.

I noticed I bought lots of sweaters, but it's that kind of year and places everywhere seemed to have them on sale. So I picked up what I liked.

Anyway, I also got a Bench winter jacket for $90 (half off the already on sale price) and it's been keeping me pretty warm~

Anyway, I did pick up some few beauty products. <3

 

My Beauty Diary!

It's one of my favourite import products, and it so happened I saw a new mist on the shelves. This is a Aloe Vera Jelly Mist, and since Aloe Vera is good for the skin, I decided to try it. :> The mist is suppose to help you keep your face moistourized, and I felt that it would be handy. Also, you can't forget the benefits of Aloe~

 

As well, it says that it's NATURAL Aloe, which is a good thing because I wouldn't want no synthetic chemically stuff. :P

 

Last but not least.. Nail Polish~

I bought this Sparkly torqoise glitter from Forever21, for like 3-4 bucks. I couldn't resist, not only was the color attracting but with my recent glitter love.. Yeah. I had to get it. <3

 

Hmm, well. moving on, since I have shirts and shoes..

I've been looking for some cool boots.

 

I first saw these in a Gal Star ad, it was a similar style to this:

It was studded on the flaps, and a cute combat like boot. <3

Since studs are pretty hot this season, I've been aiming at 'em.

I think they're cute, except I want a pair in black.

I've pretty much displayed my week to you.. In another two-three days, we'll all be moving on into the 2013 year and saying goodbye to 2012. It's gone by fast!

 

I've been blogging (seriously) for about a year now, and it's still in the works of becoming decent.. xD

AH~

My holiday break will come to an end too. :( That won't make me happy.. cause at the end of January are my final exams - and I'm sure to bomb each and every one of them. Hmm, I think I've had a decent year. I wouldn't say its perfect because it never is, but it's treated me well. I hope that the upcoming year treats you better.

Happy Holidays!

 

Hello everybody! It's been a while hasn't it? I've really missed blogging but things like school have kept me occupied. Not just that, but my internet was down for the longest time - probably every bloggers worst nightmare (but I'm not famous, so NBD). But I still care for this blog, and don't think that I've left you all! Because I haven't, and I hope more than anything else that you haven't left me either~

 

Anyway, this week is my second last week before the holiday break is over and I'm back to my boring school life. But nontheless, I've taken some time to write. PA-CHOW! (:

It's not complete though, if I don't show you my camwhore pictures! Aha.

Notice I've updated my banner and this happens to be one of the recent pictures I have. I've been playing with makeup lately too, not too dramatic - just simple plain Jane.

Moving on, I want to wish everyone a happy holidays because I didn't get the proper chance to this year. But I hope Santa's been lovely towards everybody, and that you got to share lots of joy and gifts with family and friends. I expect to wish you a happy new year though, so look forward to that!

 

I'm actually not sure what to say (being so rusty with blogging)... meh. MEH.

 

I'll go to what I love doing best; shopping!

I know this holiday has given me a ton of excuses to spend money like no tomorrow, xD especially with clothes. I can't help myself... I see something I like than I'm pretty sure I'll get it. As long as its a reasonable price. But lately I've been able to find some cute pieces to add to my collection - such as that sweater and infinity scarf .. or a panda sweater. <3

 

 

Since it's the winter season, I've been kind of obsessed with sweaters! I've been buying and buying, and this one seems to be my favourite. <3 I think it's so cute, and with the knit material, it's definitely comfy.

I bought lots more of things but I forgot to take pictures.. it's something I'll definitely do for the next post. I believe I'll be going shopping tomorrow again! :*

 Oh! And I indulged in buying myself a little goodie by buying Popteen Magazine, my favourite gyaru magazines. <3

 

WHEE! But I'm a month behind since this is the chinese version , but anyway, in my December version, it features Rola - a former popteen model I believe who graduated. At least from what I picked up from reading the magazine (my chinese isn't top notch). But I really like this issue because there's lots of makeup spreads as well as amazing fashion spreads. Their fashion always fascinates me and inspires me the most. (:

OH, and if you don't read Popteen, I think you should. Or other magazines such as Egg or Ranzuki, or even Ageha. They're all great choices, but since Popteen is the only magazine I found available at my local store, I've kind of grown attatched. There's also tons of ViVi magazines but they're quite pricy, but I hope I'll be able to purchase one in the future. ^__^

Make Up~

Hello everybody! It's been a while hasn't I?

I didn't expect myself to be so absent from this blog for so long. And I apologize! High School is much harder than I thought, and I have poor time management. LOL

 

But lately, in the time that I do have I've been experimenting with makeup. It's funny because years ago I dreaded makeup, but as soon as I discovered this whole realm of Japanese makeup (the Gyaru's) and Korean makeup (Ulzzang) it just piqued my interest. I've found role models such as Hana Imai, who I found a huge inspiration. Magazines like popteen and the world of YouTube has shown me all these things that opened the doors for makeup.

So here is the product of my experimenting:

Here I did False Lashes, eye liner, a bit of nose contouring and highlighting. There could be more I could improve on, but I'm slowly working on it. ^^ Since I lacked bottom lashes, I had to draw them in slightly.

 

I also have to work on how to better apply false lashes. It's a mess.

Bad Habits + OOTD

Hola! LOL I may be smiling here but I sincerely think beneath that smile is stress, and worry, and whining. The more I look at it, I think: man... I must be a incredibly difficult person. Haha. Sometimes, I'm certainly ashamed of myself. I mean... looking at my logic it's kind of stupid too.

But, that I can't help. For some reason, it's just my personality. Which is my bad point!

I was spending my week watching Hotaru no Hikari, which is a J-Drama. And in it, mentions something called: Himona-Onna, meaning Dried Fish Women. And I know that may sound weird, but basically... it's a office lady who after work, comes home all lazy and slacking, and well, incredibly messy. LOL Which is what the main character is: Hotaru. I thought it was cute, but looking at it, I'm kind of a Himona Onna myself aren't I? Except I'm no office lady, I'm a student. Coming home from school, it's relaxation time. I change into my PJ of shorts and a baggy tee. Ew. But seriously, that;s what makes me comfortable. And unfortunately, it's not like I have those totally adorable matching pyjama sets. No, I just have random loose tee's and comfortable shorts. Actually, when I sleep, I love the feeling of blankets around my legs and it's comfortable.
(Hopefully I'm not creepin' you guys out) LOL

But yes. The point of this post I think, is to discuss bad habits.

If only it were as easy as this sign demonstrates; driving one way or another. But clearly, habits are like... haunting. Like a shadow over your shoulder. You kind of know in your mind that you shouldn't be doing them, but it's a habit and in times when your under some kind of emotional state to lead you to your old habits, you just do 'em. Cause it relieves you, or makes you comfortable or something. LOL

For me, my habit is nail biting. I know, it sounds gross and some of you might be icky 'bout it. But seriously. It should be a disease or something, cause I hate doing it, but it relieves that boredom, nervousness, fear feeling I get. Also, in a way it distracts me as well.

As a child, I also did thumb-sucking, but for some reason that was a hurdle I could easily get over with. But over the years, biting nails has always been my biggest issue. It's gotten so bad that my ring finger nail has decreased in size... by quite a bit. It's scary. >__< But you know, everyday is a challenge. And I'm taking it step by step, even if tomorrow I fail by biting nails, it's a work in progress. So close I reach my goal, but only fail again. But failure doesn't mean you stop trying.

And the most important thing as well, is that you aren't alone. There are actually people elsewhere who are similar in your habits (that I'm sure of). My mom scolds me every time, so I'm trying my best! HAHA.

Anyway, thinking bout it... Like the picture above, there really is a possibility for habits to be cured right? If you decide to take the right path; with determination and the right mind ... anything can be succeeded! (:

To conclude, the online community is such a great resource as well, and probably a great motivation too! So you can always find support or answers somewhere. ^___^ That's where I get my motivation, to see others doing nailart and being able to do such special designs that short nails can't be done with. Plus, the reward of seeing how far you've come is quite the joy too!

I'll just do it today cause I THINK I'll be busy tomorrow. So here we go:

OOTD, Hair and ZOO.

Hey guys! LOL Surprisingly I'm already back to posting. That's because I'm so excited to write, and the new laptop makes everything so much easier to access. All I have to do is stick my SD Card from my camera into the built-in SD slot without having to wait another 10 mins to upload the photos. It's a quick proccess, and I don't have to really do much (like finding the camera cord I tend to lose... LOL).

 So yes! This was the outfit I wore to Calgary, and you can see my terrible tan line. LOL I knew it'd be hot so I decided on this, and I definitely didn't want anymore gross tan lines. I love the tank, it has that kind of bottom end tie. And normally I'd be pretty uncomfortable wearing stuff like this (tanks) because I seriously have flabby arms, but that day I didn't really care. I just wore what I want, and felt more comfortable than I thought I would. (:

Ah, well, for the hair, I played it simple. I left it down but added some occasional curls to blend in with my hair.



I actually prebraided it the night before but it wasn't as good so I ended recurling parts with my straightner. My roots are slowly peeking out more and more, and I only hope my hair continues to grow. Eventually, I plan to redye with Palty Rasberry Jam (it's a red shade) because well, I really want to go back to my red head days. LOL

DERP.

So that's just more of me. xD My face has been super derpy lately. WHY DO I HAVE BUSHY BROWS? And I get even more nervous thinking about changing them, it's like: "What if I don't look good?". You know how some girls fill out their brows? I look hideous if I do, or maybe I shouldn't even try at all since it's already so full... But seriously, I'm jealous of you girls who seem to have PERFECT brows. TwT

LOL

OKAY. Time for the interesting part right? The zoo. If you guys haven't visited the Calgary zoo, it's nice and big and it toally beats Edmonton's zoo. We went to see the new Penguin exhibit and I loved it! The room was cool and artic-y and the temperture was relaxing after sending a while lining up and walking in the blistering heat! I don't know how people in who live in Las Vegas or desert areas live... because in 25-30 degrees weather, I'm already dead and complaining. So koodos to you guys.

Here's just a bit of pictures of what I was able to see:

 I thought the bats looked surreal. Everything was quite cool, as it has been a while since I've been to the zoo. Haha, ^__^

It was quite nice seeing those penguins. They were so cute. Apparently they poop every 10-15 minutes! LOL

Well, I think animals are cool, and we're fortunate enough to get to see them and live in coexistence with them. I just hope that the generations to come don't abuse that privilage, because nature isn't our right, it belongs to no one in a sense and we should respect it. >__<

Along the way... there were some nice views too. LOL But I don't want to make this post overly pic heavy.

Oh yeah, lookout for possible videos soon, afterall, my laptop is loaded with the Sony Vegas Movie Studio so maybe I'll get around to working on it possibly. (;

In the meanwhile, here's a nice scenery picture. ^__^

I wish I had a super amazing camera... I could do so much more. But I'm satisfied with my current one, I think it performs quite well for a regular digital camera. LOL

Any how, as I'm typing there's been a storm raving on for quite a while. I'm not a fan of thunder or anything so.. xD Yeah.

Hey guys! Normally I'd be posting like crazy, but recently I've been busy and lazy. As expected of me right?

So this week consisted of a few things:

-New laptop (HOORAH)

-Trip to Calgary

-Doing nothing

-Doing something.

Interesting right? LOL I really don't have much of a life do I? I've had my ups and downs last month but woohoo. And here I am, finally back to blogging because it is my job to tell you guys all the things I've bought, how bored I am, and how I have no life. As for the things I've bought, I'll be writing to you in the next post. Every photo I've got is loaded onto my big fat, old pc that I can't seem to let go of. But with the few pictures I do have (which is basically me camwhoring) I shall entertain you with them. (: First though, I shall show you my sexy laptop.

YAY. My brand new Sony VAIO - E Series.

Actually, this laptop had been my dream laptop many years before, but eventually I came to let it go and just enjoy my (now dead) HP laptop. I love the colour, the pink is perfection. And lastly, I'm ever thankful I even got this machine. It works like a beauty. And everythings so much faster... or maybe it's because I've been using really slow computers. xD Haha, :3

This is totally unrelated but I don't know how to transition it to the topic so I rather cut to the chase! LOL Lately I've had lots of time at home because it is summer, and I've got nothing to do. Therefore, I do nails. Because that takes off a few hours off of the whole day. Nothing original though, just the typical leopard print.

As a favour to you guys, I covered the hideous parts. LOLOL Anyway, a bit of the black outlining got smudged while I was putting on the top coat maybe a bit too vigorously. Therefore... smudges! ): But how could I redo them when I spent a hour working oh-so diligently! (:

Does anyone know how to grow out nails? I mean I really don't have the patience for it so.. it doesn't work out for me 80% of the time, but the other 15% turns out to be nice when it does get grown out... except it gets ruined by the 80% chance. You understand?

Sometimes.. I think my logic is really messed up. OR it's probably only understood by me. 

And here's the time where I come to make a realization: I have little to none friends. Nothing has ever worked out, whether that is me being unsocial or me just having a difficult personality -- I don't know. But sometimes it really does take it's toll. I really want to do a heart to heart post sometime, because I really do have so much to say. ^^ As always look forward to it..
